In Part One of our guide to interim labs, we discussed the minimal turnaround time you can receive with a Modular Devices lease, the various invasive procedures medical staffers can perform in our modular labs, and the customized solutions we take pride in delivering to our clients. One of our goals is to provide our customers with ample information to make the buying process as simple as possible, so to pick up where we left off:4. A MODULAR CATH LAB WON’T FIT ON MY SITE.
False.
If a mobile lab will fit on your site, then a modular lab will too. The footprint of each is roughly the same at about 14-by-48 feet. The key difference is that a mobile lab is 8 feet wide in sections, and 14 feet wide in other areas that include pop-out side extensions. A typical modular lab, however, is roughly 14 feet wide throughout the entire 48-foot length, making for an interior space that is 25-50% larger than any mobile cath lab trailer.
5. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TO MY FACILITY AND ME AT ALL TIMES.
True.
Another MDI core value is comprehensive support and service to our clients. From the first phone call, through the planning and training processes, our experienced service engineers and technicians will be along every step of the way. This includes a complimentary ’round-the-clock Service Support Line, available any day, any time.
6. AN INTERIM LAB WILL ONLY BE USEFUL IN THE SHORT TERM.
False.
While both modular and mobile labs are immediately very useful to a medical facility, they can provide the same benefits in the long run as well. In particular, because our modular labs can be connected to a hospital, the lab can look and feel like it is actually part of the hospital. Some of our clients have even purchased our labs and technology to keep as a permanent addition!
7. THERE ARE LIMITED TECHNOLOGY OPTIONS FOR INTERIM LABS.
False.
Our lab configurations span beyond cath labs, and include angio, peripheral and EP solutions. Your interim lab order can be customized for various applications and procedures, including peripheral interventions and vascular, pediatrics, electrophysiology, cardiac cath, coronary interventions and implants (pacemakers).
